Ephesians

Lance Adams

Everybody has a credit limit. And you can only withdraw as much money has you have in your bank account. Right? But God doesn’t restrict His resources. Some have called Ephesians the treasure house of the Bible. Why? Join us and let’s find out about the riches, fullness, and inheritance that a believer has in Christ. Along the way, find out who and how rich you are as well as how to use that wealth for God’s glory.

Journey to the Land of Israel

Jodi Wiand & Pastor Donita Keister

Join our journey to the Holy Lands as we view pictures from Jodi and Donita’s trips to Israel. The pictures will be used as a guide to gather us around the scriptures where we will deepen our understanding of Biblical stories, events, people groups, truths and current events. Watch the Bible unfold before our eyes as we visit Nazareth, Caesarea, Megiddo, Caesarea Philippi, The Sea of Galilee, Capernaum, En Gedi, Bethlehem, Jacob’s Well, all of Jerusalem and more. Meet Muslims, Jews and Palestinian Christians and discover the Church’s role, while discussing the current geographical and political realities of these groups trying to live at peace with one another in the small country of Israel.

Flying Closer to the Flame

Tracy Solomon

The Holy Spirit – how well do you understand this member of the Trinity? There seems to be less discussion and understanding of what the Holy Spirits role is in the life of a Christian. But knowledge apart from application falls short of God’s desire for His Children. We are going to discuss and challenge you to apply what we learn. This study was given over 2 years ago but was worth repeating.

Know What you Believe (BVCOB Bible College Class)

Aaron & Stacy Reitenbach

What does the Bible teach about God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit? What do angels, Satan, and demons have to do with reality? What place should the Bible or a church have in my life? This class, based on the book Know What You Believe by Paul E. Little, will explore these questions and more. Bring your questions and join us as we discuss some of the foundational truths of the Christian faith.

Counter Culture

Dan Manbeck & Brian Sommers

Welcome to the front lines. Everywhere we turn, battle lines are being drawn―traditional marriage vs. gay marriage, pro-life vs. pro-choice, personal freedom vs. governmental protection. Seemingly overnight, culture has shifted to the point where right and wrong are no longer measured by universal truth but by popular opinion. And as difficult conversations about homosexuality, abortion, and religious liberty continue to inject themselves into our workplaces, our churches, our schools, and our homes, Christians everywhere are asking the same question: How are we supposed to respond to all this? In Counter Culture, New York Times bestselling author David Platt shows Christians how to actively take a stand on such issues as poverty, sex trafficking, marriage, abortion, racism, and religious liberty―and challenges us to become passionate, unwavering voices for Christ.

A Biblical Study of Matthew

Steve Richard

Using materials from John Mac Arthur and Warren Wiersbe we will study the Life of Christ. This Easter season, review and relive how Jesus birth, life, teachings, death and resurrection changed the world and continues to change the world one person at a time. Come explore how the documented life of Christ is Foundational to our faith today in a risen Savior.

Network (A Stepping Stones Class)

Pastor Eric Reamer

A follower of Jesus is committed to serving Jesus in ministry, both in the church and outside the church. However, many people find themselves as square pegs trying to fit into round holes. They try ministries but they get frustrated and/or burned out. God doesn’t desire this for His people. Here at BVCOB we have a class called “Network” which is designed to help each person discover his/her spiritual gifts. This class will help you discern how God has gifted you and equipped you to serve Him. Upon completion of this course, if you like, you will have the opportunity to meet with a “coach” who will help you find a ministry here at Buffalo Valley.
